Requested a lovely flower arrangement for a funeral in Engllad, online from the USA. Flowers were delivered next day as requested (with a little helpful email communication back and forth to clarify things). The lady who received the flowers stopped by the Tom Hodge Florist shop later on to thank them for how beautiful they look. Flowers ordered on good Friday and delivered on Saturday, perfectly in time for Easter. The arrangement looked beautiful and my mum was really pleased with it. Great contact from agent and florist to let me know they didnt have the exact container I ordered. Slightly on the expensive side but more because they didnt seem to have cheaper bouquets. The flowers I ordered looked nothing like what was actually delivered. There were no Thistles or Roses in the bouquet and it was very cheap looking. Very poor service and not worth the money. Disappointed as this was for a special occasion, I wouldn't use this florist again.

I have not seen the flowers but understand, from my Mother, that they are 'gorgeous'. Also, delivery was prompt. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is I didn't like the promise of free delivery (it was) but this was negated by having to pay a ??4.25 service fee! Isn't this just a delivery fee in disguise?!!

My comments relate to delivery rather than the presentation. The flowers received were beautiful and were ordered for my mother for her birthday. I had requested an AM delivery as I was taking my mother to lunch. Unfortunately the flowers didn't arrive before we left for lunch at 11.50 (yes still within AM window but only just)! This was particularly disappointing as Tom Hodge florist are very local to the delivery address and I chose them specificially so that the flowers would arrive earlier in order that my mother could be there to receive them.
