The flower shop was established in 1995 and is based around Dawlish. We are open 6 days a week and can offer specified delivery times if need be. Work from home so no shop front.

About & History:

Alison's Florist is an independent florist delivering beautiful, fresh flowers throughout Dawlish and the surrounding areas. We provide high-quality floral arrangements for every occasion, with designs to suit all styles and budgets.

Specialties:

We are passionate about supporting local growers and producers wherever possible. During the growing season, we source many of our flowers from the South West, with a preference for Devon-grown blooms. We also stock a selection of plants from the NHS Trust garden in Exminster, where horticulture plays an important role in patient rehabilitation. In addition to our flowers and plants, many of the local products we offer—including apple juice, eggs, fruit, and honey—are sourced from producers across South Devon. Supporting British growers and local businesses is at the heart of what we do, helping us provide fresh, high-quality products while investing in our local community.

How a company or service responds when things dont necessarily go to plan says a lot, I ordered a large bouquet and extras for our daughter . She had just returned home after a difficult episode in hospital with our thirteen-month-old granddaughter. The teddy bear was to be for her but this wasnt available, so a couple of balloons were substituted. Our daughter was surprised to receive congratulations on having a baby girl! Turned out Alison had tried to call me and then took the initiative assuming, perhaps understandably, that mum and new baby had just returned home. When I followed it up there was a complete acceptance, with an apology, that this was a genuine mistake. Alison also promised to drop in some daffodils later.. Appreciated. All was well, the flowers lovely, the funny side appreciated. And, best of all, our granddaughter is getting better!
