Great that it was delivered on time but I was disappointed with the flowers and colour. I chose 'Lemon & Lime' as it was unusual but the actual arrangement had a lot of white it it and didn't look expensive, the flowers were quite common. I understand that due to the current circumstances the flowers I chose may not have been available but to make allowances for this they could have made a larger display to make up for it, as compensation so to speak.

I rang the florist as the flowers did not get there in the morning, the gentleman who answered the phone was quite polite but there was a lady in the background barking orders at him, saying they were busy and it was coming up to Mothers day and they had a funeral on the same day, I found her quite rude, I understand it does not promise an AM delivery just a preferred time, I had not read that but the young man explained this, had I known I would have probably gone elsewhere as I really needed them delivering in the morning. The flowers were beautiful but due to the time delay she did not get them till Saturday so it looked like I had ignored her birthday ;-(

I loved the efficient service of direct2florist - I ordered the flowers in Australia and they were delivered to the recipient in the UK within 2 hours - on a Saturday! I also like the idea of using a local florist. However, the reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars is because I am not sure what flowers were actually delivered. Did I get what I paid for? The image attached to this review is the first I've seen; however, I don't know if these were the actual flowers or just a stock image. I would have liked a photo of the flowers to be sent to me at the time of delivery.
