About & History

van Wonderen Flowers is owned and run by Dennis van Wonderen who is Dutch by origin and has been working in the UK for over 20 years. After working for several bosses during his time in the UK Dennis decided to take the leap out on his own and has opened his shop in July 2007. We are proud to be the appointed florist to Transport for London and supply flowers for many important events including the annual memorial tributes used in the 7/7 remembrance service. The van Wonderen Floral School offers individual workshops or complete courses in all levels (beginners, intermediate & advanced) to suit your own floral need. We cater for all tastes from the traditional to the more modern and contemporary design and can create stylish designs for all occasions. We welcome all aspects of floristry including weddings, funerals and flowers for corporate events

Located in the heart of Sunbury on Thames we are ideally situated close to Kempton Park Race Course, Hampton Court Palace and the head office of BP is just a stones throw away. Popular wedding venues in the area are The Runnymede on Thames Hotel, Foxhills, Hampton Court House and Great Fosters which we have decorated on many occasions. We have a great relationship with all our local funeral directors, Lodge Brothers, the Cooperative, Paines & Sanders, Holmes & Daughters, TH Saunders and Chitty & Co with whom we are able to liaise when delivering your floral tribute and special wishes.

Excellent service with the flowers and Easter chocolates delivered as requested on due date. The flower arrangement was beautiful and the chocolates excellent quality and much appreciated. Beyond excellent flowers, customer service and delivery. Flowers were amazing and roses and lilies were huge. I bought two separate deliveries for two family members in memorial of my late daughter Liliana Rose???s birthday to be delivered to two different places in Surrey. My parents and sister who received the two separate deliveries at their houses said each delivery filled three vases. I have seen photos and they look amazing. Would thoroughly recommend this florist.

This was my 4th time to use your service, but not as great as my first 3 tries :-(. I didn't find out until almost the end of the day that there were no flowers available to deliver my surprise bouquet. My request for a delivery first thing the next day wasn't honoured. You finally delivered,thank you, so will definitely use the service again. My suggestion would be: please request another florist in your network to deliver if the flowers are not available in my chosen florist.
