Flowers at 166 have a fantastic team that is highly trained with an array of expertise not only in the English flower market but also in the Dutch, Spanish and American market we truly are the international florist. Our arrangements are created with pride, artistic flair and constant attention to detail. Our customers always come first we take great pride in our customer service. We love to make a vital contribution to help create the right impression you are looking for. Flowers at 166 are open seven days a week, Monday to Friday 8am-5.30pm and on Saturday 9am -12.30pm. We only open on Sundays for key occasions such as Mothers Day or should Christmas Eve or Valentines full on a Sunday 9am-2pm we can deliver local orders 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We are also able to offer national and international deliveries. In this county we have some fantastic growers so where possible we source flowers right here in the U.K, only buying the highest quality. We pay fair prices so we can sell at fair prices always offering you the customer good value for money. Why not visit our shop.. To see is truly to believe. With such a large team we have at least one expert in every field of floristy. We have over the years built up a great customer base with new ones being recommend on a daily bases. We have become best known for our wedding & funeral work & our ready made hand tieds that are made fresh every morning and ready to go for those in a rush.

Location & Delivery:

You can find us at the bottom end of Charminster Road at 361-363. We deliver Monday to Saturday & on Sundays for Mothers Day and key occasions to all BH post codes excluding BH19, all funeral directors & hospitals on a daily basis. We have exclusive free customer parking outside the shop.

The service was brilliant - flowers arrived on the day ordered which was important to me. However, having spent a little while deciding what to send.....the flowers that arrived were nothing like what I ordered and in fact didn't look like 'meadow flowers' at all. Red carnations and alstromeria (both cheap) were not in my chosen mix of daffodils, tulips., hyacinths, gerbera and daisies. So not sure I actually got what I paid for........apart from delivery

Beautiful flowers as advertised and reasonably priced. I would have given a score of 5 if not for two small points that I felt could have been improved, these being: 1. I ordered a wreath via the internet but there was no box given to request a time slot for delivery. I was concerned that by putting the time in the special request box this may have been overlooked, resulting in the flowers arriving after the funeral service. Luckily the flowers were there on time but I would have felt more assured if there had been a specific time box provided. 2. I thought long and hard about what to write on the card attached to the wreath as the words meant so much to me but sadly they were lost on the card. The hand writing was neat but very tiny and unclear where written over the small picture on the card. I would recommend using a larger card that can easily accommodate the amount of lettering allocated. I would recommend and definitely order again but in future I would ensure I verify any specific time required and provide my own card to be attached if this was not already improved upon. Thank you for your good service.

The funeral bouquet was not what I expected from the photo on the website ! It was supposed to have four yellow roses in it. It had,instead, a large sunflower and a couple of large yellow carnations and the filler flowers and stems. It was pleasant but not what I ordered at all. I ordered a few days in advance to be taken to crematorium. There wasn’t £30 worth of flowers in there.I have NVQ level 2 floristry so I know what I’m talking about.

Although the persons I sent the flowers to were well pleased I've got to admit I wasn't, they sent me a photo of them and they bore no resemblence to the ones I'd chosen. I can't see the point in putting a photo of flowers on a website if they are not available, and the ones sent look nothing like what I'd chosen. Being a gardener of 40+ years I know what flowers last a long time and those that don't, so when looking for flowers to send I chose those which will last the longest. I know its not always possible to send the exact flowers and there is a note on the website saying so. The flowers I'd ordered were called "Jade" which were pinks and blues, the ones sent looked to be mainly white. Saying this I still like the service that Direct2Florist give and will continue to use them.

Very speedy delivery as I ordered them just before 10pm and they were delivered the next day at 2pm! The flowers were beautiful and fresh. The reason why I have not given 5 stars is because the bouquet of flowers seemed to be padded out with leaves and daisies.
