About & History:

Right from leaving school Roisin plunged into floristry. Learning the trade at Hall Green College Birmingham and has been an established bespoke florist for over 19 years. Now running her own dream florist of Damson in Bloom - with a head bursting with ideas and a beautiful flowery green future ahead.

Specialties:

Bespoke Funeral tributes, Weddings and weddings with a difference - Roisin loves nothing more than spending time working with the intricacies of corsages and button holes. She enjoys the many different styles and eras asked for and has the patience of a saint with everything with button holes and in fact every floral work of art that she turns her hand to.

I was really disappointed with my order. I never write reviews, so that alone will indicate my feelings. I ordered these flowers from a group of friends for a new home. They were due to be delivered on the Monday, the following day. The next day I had a message to say that the florist was unwell and could they be delivered on the Tuesday. We are all unwell at times and as these were not for a dated occasion, I said of course, that would be fine. I received no further correspondence and so just presumed my flowers had been delivered. After a few days I was concerned as my friend would always send a message of thanks, but I had nothing. On the Friday I contacted the florist to air my concerns and ask if she could confirm delivery. She told me that she thought they’d been delivered and could I check with my friend. It was really quite embarrassing to have to ask my friends if she had received flowers, but she confirmed that she hadn’t. I went back to the florist to explain this. I received no reply. Later that day my friend messaged to say they had been delivered. On the Monday I had a message from the florist to say that she thought that the delivery driver must have stolen them She also said that she forgot to press send on this message on Saturday. She said she’d put extra flowers in. I saw a photo of the flowers that my friend sent me and didn’t feel there were any extra there. The whole order from start to finish was a real shambles and I can’t help thinking that if I hadn’t bothered to chase it up, the £55 flowers would never have arrived.

I ordered the flowers to be delivered on mothers day but they did not arrive, they arrived the day after. However when they did arrive the flowers where lovely and the florist advised i would receive a 50% refund for the delay in delivery. I still haven't received this refund however.
