Our Guide To Preserving Flowers

A beautiful flower delivery sent on behalf of a loved one is always a welcomed gift, so it’s understandable that we want to keep those flowers alive for as long as possible. However, without the proper knowledge and foresight, it’s easy to let flowers wither away, despite all of your best efforts.

There are a few things you can start off with. Change the previous day's water, then cut an inch off the flower's stem, removing any leaves below the waterline.

After this, pour the second portion of flower food into the freshwater. Wait for four days and repeat the process, cutting half an inch of each flower's stem. Ensure to keep the flower away from direct sunlight, drafts, and heat.

Of course, while these are important steps to take when looking after your flowers, there is much more you can do to keep them healthy. Alternatively, you may choose to replant your flowers, giving them a whole new lease of life.

Regardless of how you choose to look after your pretties, we have you covered. Down below, we’ve put together a few guides that will help you get the most out of your flowers.
