Flower Delivery in Harrow & Nearby Areas:

About & History:

Van Arthur is a leading traditional florist situated in Harrow. Our Harrow branch boasts a history of over 100 years dating as far back as 1915, when the Metropolitan line first came to the Harrow area. To this day, we're still rocking the original Victorian timber shop-front, the same used by the much loved local Harrow florist at the time, Flower Fayre. Today, we showcase a locally unparalleled selection of fresh flowers and irresistible gifts every single day. Our wide range of stunning bouquets can be ordered online and we'll often hand-deliver them in as little as 2 hours. "Head and shoulders above any service I've used before" - G. Jasper, 2017 (A Google reviewer) No matter what the occasion, whether it be a stunning hand-tied bouquet or an artful floral arrangement, our passionate team of florists will be sure to impress you with our contemporary and traditional designs. When ordering flowers for a special occasion, forget about the worry of presentation and if they'll be delivered on time. Our team will insure you get stunning flowers, delivered when they were promised. Of course, nobody's perfect. But because we care, and we aim for the very best in every order we undertake, we've earned the trust of everyone from locals and commuters to event planners and multinational corporations. We'd be delighted to add you to the list.

Specialties:

At Van Arthur Florist, we specialise in beautifully handcrafted hand-tied bouquets, elegant wedding flowers, thoughtful funeral and sympathy tributes, and stunning gift arrangements for every occasion. We also offer a unique selection of preserved roses for long-lasting beauty, alongside an extensive range of lush indoor and outdoor plants to brighten any space..

My daughter loved her flowers. There would have been 5 stars but the lateness of the delivery lost the extra star. I would use again.

Wendy

Order placed via Direct2Florist listing. 9th Jul 2025

Florist did not deliver on accepted date. No response from email to direct2florist. Contact number for florist went to VM. Eventually spoke to florist next morning and arranged alternative delivery slot which was also missed. Flowers when arrived looked like small bunch not as medium. Unprofessional service and essentially a profiteering exercise over all.

It came pretty late into the evening despite having ordered the flowers in the morning. Aside from this, the flowers for the birthday girl were beautiful! Also, the delivery man was very helpful and patient with me whilst I figured out what to do about the flowers as the recipient was not at home! Once she received them, she was delighted! Thank you.

Van Arthur Flowers were very professional. I could not leave the receivers phone number as she has recently moved to the UK and asking for it ahead of an important day would have ruined the surprise. They called me the day before to confirm if I could provide it, then I called them in the morning of the delivery day and they confirmed the time of delivery for me. It was a very smooth and professional experience. I ordered the orchid and it looked so lovely, the receiver was very happy. Definitely recommend their service and will order through them again.

This was my first time using Direct 2 Florist. I found the online floral selection to be somewhat limited although I was able to source a product that was satisfactory and met my requirements. The product I chose was delivered in good time as requested and the recipient was notified by telephone call as they were not in at the time the delivery was attempted. I would both use Direct 2 Florists again and recommend them to anyone looking for an efficient, reliable easy to use flower delivery service.
