About & History:

Hi , my name is Tracy Goodman. I opened Plantation Florist in 1996 and built it from an empty Victorian bakery into the thriving flower shop that it is today ! I studied Floristry City and Guilds in Plymouth in the 80's and passed with Distinctions in Horticulture, Botany, Design and Practical Floristry. We also have staff training through our business in NVQ Floristry. As a young Florist i worked at at several shops in Gloucestershire, gaining valuable experience in competitions and everyday orders !

Specialties:

We specialise in Hand tied bouquets and arrangements made from possibly the largest flower selection in the City, along with Weddings, Funerals and Corporate, which we hold a long list of Business clients. Our designs are created by experienced Florists and we use materials that are available at short notice. Occasionally due to season, availability, weather , some varieties may become unavailable and we will substitute with a similar bloom !

We’ve used Direct2Florist for both personal and business use and have never been disappointed, the service and quality of the flowers has always been excellent. On this occasion, I was waiting for my wife to be released from Hospital and had very little notice of when this would be. I ordered the flowers before 11am and they arrived the same day around 2pm. Need I say more!!!

We sent an order for a funeral tribute to Plantation Florist via the D2F relay system on behalf of one of our regular customers. Our customer phoned us to say that a photograph of the tribute had been sent to her by her niece in Gloucester and that it was beautiful - exactly how she had described. Thank you for fulfilling an important order and taking note of our customer's requests.
