About & History:

Island Breeze Designs began in 2019 shortly after I moved to the beautiful island of Anglesey..I had previously owned two retail florist shops in the Midlands so have years of experience since gaining my City and Guilds certificates at Brooksby College. With a passion for using locally grown or British flowers where possible I also have access via my amazing wholesalers to beautiful blooms imported from around the world, from countries that can grow them sustainably without the need for artificial heating systems and providing much needed local employment. Most of my orders are 'florist choice' as distance from the wholesalers limits my choice somewhat.

Specialties:

My designs tend towards the natural, rustic look using plenty of foliage to add texture and show off the individual blooms. I specialize in weddings and funerals....with the weddings I try to ensure that every couple has something designed for them, not just a replica of a Pinterest photograph while the funerals are personalised, taking into account a loved ones hobbies, interests and likes. Christmas is also a busy time of year and I love making the door wreaths and attending the Festive markets.

Location & Delivery:

I work from a studio workshop in a barn at my home now, in Llanddeusant, miles from anywhere but we love the peace and quiet of the countryside. I deliver to my immediate area daily and can usually accomodate anywhere on the island with a little notice.
