Our shop is run by Richard and his sons, Paul and Jack, representing the third and fourth generations of our family's floristry business. With decades of experience, we're proud to offer friendly, expert advice on all aspects of floristry for every occasion. Whether you need help choosing the perfect bouquet, planning wedding flowers, or arranging a thoughtful tribute, we're here to help. You can also add a selection of luxurious chocolates to make your gift even more special.

Location & Delivery:

Every bouquet is carefully handcrafted by our skilled florists and delivered with care by our own dedicated drivers. If the recipient isn't at home, we'll usually leave the flowers with a trusted neighbour and post a card through the door to let them know where their gift has been left.

I have been delighted with the service from Richard Mathews. I had a problem as I didn't have a local phone number for the recipient, as requested on the order form; I phoned the shop and they were so helpful and assured me that they would cope.. When the flowers arrived the recipient said that they were gorgeous and in lovely condition. Great to find an online retailer in whom you can trust!

I live in Australia and have used Direct2 several times to send flowers to the UK. Last week saw the arrival of a new baby and I ordered flowers at what would have been the very early hours of the morning in England and I received a photo of a beautiful arrrangement by lunchtime. Brilliant service particularly as the flowers were delivered to a small rural village in Oxfordshire.

My daughter was pleased with her flowers but she didn't realise I had ordered "teatime" but she received a plant pot. So, it was I that was disappointed - I thought the teacup was a lovely idea especially as we wouldn't be able to have a cuppa together (her being in England and me in Australia).
