About & History:

Founded by Joanne Dann and named after her beautiful daughter, LilyLou’s shares a lifetime’s passion in the art of floristry and event dressing. Qualified florist Joanne opended LilyLou’s in 2013 in the bustling Lake District town of Ambleside, near Windermere, where she began by meeting each client at their home or venue to discuss how to make dreams a reality, from weddings to event dressing. Since then, Joanne has expanded the in-house team and opened ‘The Wedding Room’, a prop hire showroom in addition to the flower shop, but retaining the personal ‘we can come to you’ experience that her clients and venues have come to expect. In summer 2019, LilyLou’s outgrew it’s little shop on St. Mary’s Lane and moved to a larger premises on The Slack where it sits today.

Although Weddings are our passion, our expertise doesn’t stop there. We design flowers for any event: Birthdays, Christenings, Ladies evenings, Proms, garden parties, corporate events as well as following a theme if you wish - from Vegas nights to Mermaids! - you choose the theme and we will create the arrangements.

Location & Delivery:

From the smallest to the largest venue Joanne and the team can advise you on how to get maximum impact. Joanne also makes her own gems using Swarovski Crystals to add an exquisite sparkle to your bouquet – making it unique to you, matching your gown and jewellery. We use only the best quality flowers and products whilst trying to keep the costs as realistic as possible and keeping to a budget where required.
