About & History:

Violets florist is a studio florist based in the heart of Kingsteignton. Head Florist / owner Lucy has always had a love of flowers and was encouraged by her Grandma Violet hence the name Violet's. Lucy began her career just aged 13 on a local flowers stall and when on to en roled on a YTS scheme and attended Staffordshire college studying Floristry. Lucy has mainly worked for well known brand florists in the past, attending lots of in house training and competitions, but the time came when she wanted to set up on her own and offer a friendly value for money service with no hidden charges and so Violet's florist began...

One really appreciated thing was that at 12 noon on the day of delivery we received an email with a super photo saying, This is a photo of the flowers we delivered for you. That was brilliant because we are on holiday abroad and never saw them. A great piece of marketing.

Lucy did all the flowers for my aunt's funeral in August and we were all thrilled with them. The interment of ashes took place today, and needless to say, we asked Lucy to do the flowers for this also. All the family was absolutely delighted, and the flowers were much admired. We will certainly use Lucy again, and have already recommended her to some friends.

I am absolutely delighted with the service I received from Lucy at Violets Florist. I ordered a small posy as a 'thinking of you' for my sister. The flowers were stunning and Lucy went out of her way to deliver them at no extra charge. I would highly recommend this florist. Her prices are also much more realistic than the Interflora florists.
