About Edelweiss

Here at Edelweiss florist we are a traditional flower shop in Galashiels with brilliant floristry experience helping us produce marvellous flower arrangements with popping colour for weddings, Valentines day and general gifts for loved ones. Whilst also here we understand that in times of an event like a funeral a sympathetic tone is needed. We hand deliver our flowers to the local area same day.

I wanted flowers sent to a friend as her dad was being cremated in one of those no fuss services just to let her know l was thinking of her. I did the whole thing on the website as it was the New Year Holidays and Edelweiss in Galashiels did a great job l left the selection to them as l don’t know what’s available at this time of year and they made up a lovely bouquet. Small delivery problem - my fault - but swiftly sorted and l would not hesitate to recommend them for flowers.

Was recommended direct2florist so I tried them to get a wreath for a funeral. Was so easy to do on their website. They use local florists who then deliver them for you. The flowers were delivered on time and there's instructions for you to type up before you complete your order which is great.

The order process was smooth and easy. So happy because I ordered them from Australia. I saw them on the live stream of the funeral and they were exactly as I ordered even though I know that it is difficult for florists to source the flowers ordered depending on the seasons. I dont normally write reviews but I have to say that Andrew from Edelweiss has been so helpful and the flowers that my mum received today are beautiful. I messed up my order for Mothers Day by putting the wrong date in (for next Friday) but I had an email from Andrew saying had I realised As my message was for Mothers Day, he apologised that he was full for the weekend but he would see what he could do. They have just been delivered to my mum today and they are beautiful. Also big shout out to the delivery man as the road from Galashiels to Stow is shut and he had to take the long way round. Great service, thoroughly recommend.
