That’s why our service doesn’t conform to the industry norm – instead it goes further by offering florists a relay solution that actually works for you – not a corporate giant that’s simply looking to make a fat profit. So what makes our service different?

It’s your choice

Firstly, we don’t have boundaries and we certainly don’t try to tell you how to run your business. At Direct2Florist, we recognise that every florist shop is different, which is why we allow you to sell your products at your prices – all on your personalised page on www.direct2florist.com.

Via the fantastic Florist Manager software that’s included as part of membership, you can set the prices that you would like to sell at, upload pictures of your own designs (or use ours if you wish) as well as telling us where you can deliver to – with it possible to change prices whenever you want at the click of a mouse. That means there are no stock requirements, no need to carry vases and containers that you don’t like and no pressure to fulfil orders that you don’t want to. As a result, you can deliver profitable orders that you’re comfortable with, creating a happy florist!

Free relay

Direct2Florist has the lowest worldwide order service fee of any florist membership relay organisation. What’s more, because that fee is paid by consumers, and because we don’t charge our florists a monthly membership fee, for florists like you relay is actually free!

Customers appreciate the openness of the way we charge a service fee, and because this open and honest way of charging allows 100% of the flower value to be passed on to the delivering florist, they know they will receive better value for money than they would with other relay operators.

Choose your commission

Whilst you receive 100% of the flower value for incoming online orders, member to member (florist to florist) orders are subject to commission. However, just as we enable you to charge what you want for your floral designs, we also like to give you flexibility on the commission that you take when sending orders to another Direct2florist member.

You can choose whether you would like to take out 20%, 10% or even 0% – the choice is yours. We allow this to happen because some florists like to provide the best possible service for their customers and pass on higher delivering values. Indeed, in recent times we've seen a shift towards a 10% sending commission – passing more value to the delivering florist.

And remember, the flower money is split between the sending and delivering shop with nothing taken out, making D2F profitable for both the sending and delivering shops.

One of the key features of Direct2Florist’s technologically advanced system is that we can offer totally secure payments between florists wherever they are in the world.

For customers, that means we can offer fully PCI compliant, ultra-secure order taking. For florists, it means we can offer a cutting-edge payment processing set-up that ensures you’re paid quickly and securely, protecting you from any declining card transactions. Essentially, we can offer guaranteed payment for an order.

Payments are made to florists rapidly and securely, meaning there’s no problem with cash flow.

Direct2Florist knows that the most important people in the organisation are our florists, so our aim is always to provide excellent channels of communication, payment and ordering between customers and florists.

Faster deliveries

The Direct2Florist relay service is lightning fast. Thanks to the D2F Florist Manager software and its direct connections between florists, the order is transmitted in a flash to the delivering florist, even if they're on the other side of the world.

Membership of Direct2Florist is a low-cost way of adding another service to your business. Many of your local customers welcome the ability to send flowers overseas or elsewhere in your country, so why not actively market the fact that you can?
